Summer is right around the corner, and it’s the most popular season to say "I do." This summer has some tried and true trends (hello pastels) as well as a few unexpected ones (velvet in the summer). We’ve compiled some of our favorite trends and colors that will make for a stunning summer wedding!

Peach, Coral & Pink Tones

These colors scream summer but are anything but typical when paired together. Skylar Caitlin of Chancey Charm Weddings revealed that all of her clients’ summer colors include at least one shade of pink. “From orangy peaches to bright fuchsia, color is making a comeback and I, for one, couldn't be more excited!”

Summer Trend:

These colors will look great in lush floral arrangements. Hanging florals, as well as large floral installations, are all the rage this year!

Sage Green & Yellow

Sage is this year’s hottest color and pairing it with a bright and cheery yellow will make for a showstopping pair. This would be a beautiful match for a garden wedding where you can play off the venue’s natural surroundings.

Summer Trend:

Textured linens such as velvet are often thought of as too heavy for summertime but can give an indoor reception the perfect amount of luxury.

Periwinkle, Ivory & Purple

As the Pantone Color of the Year, it’s no surprise that Very Peri is a popular choice for couples saying "I do" in 2022. This gorgeous shade of periwinkle goes well with an array of colors, but we love pairing it with a neutral such as ivory, and then adding some violet, purple, or lilac touches for a complementary contrast.

Summer Trend:

Floral prints and embroidery are taking center stage in everything from wedding dresses to décor. While it would look beautiful any time of the year, it works particularly well for summer.

French Blue & Grapefruit

A larger-than-life color like grapefruit will look stunning with the more muted French blue. With its gray undertones, it makes for an unexpected neutral. It works with every style, so whether you’re looking for a traditional look or a more modern affair, French Blue serves as a great base or accent color.

Summer Trend:

Bridgerton-inspired weddings are all the rage this year and this color combo brings just the right amount of drama and playfulness to make that vision come to life.  Mix it with some cottagecore aesthetics if you’re looking for a more laid-back vibe.

Terracotta, Beige & Rust

These Earth tones might seem basic, but together these colors can be a game-changing combo that works for all seasons. If you feel the need to go a little extra, throw in small touches in a bold shade of blue or green.

Summer Trend:

This eye-catching warm color scheme evokes a rustic and boho vibe, which is still going strong in 2022. Don’t be afraid to use a mixture of textures and colors in everything from your place settings, centerpiece holders, lanterns, and lounge spaces.
