Kids are back to school. The store aisles have been stuffed with Halloween paraphernalia for a month already. For some, wedding season is winding down while for others, the heat's just now turning up. And, somewhere it's beginning to feel a bit like Fall... there has to be somewhere, right?!. No matter what, all signs are pointing to one thing: the biggest gathering of wedding professionals in the country! That's right - we're just weeks away from Wedding MBA 2019 in fab' Las Vegas, Nevada. This annual event is equal parts pilgrimage and party as thousands of wedding pros gather to reconnect, recharge, and reset.
This is one of our favorite events of the year. We're more excited than ever for this go 'round, too. We can't wait to see all those familiar faces, and meet as many new ones as possible. We've got so many exciting things in the works, and are chomping at the bit to share it (big announcements to come, we promise!). But first, let's make sure you've got the right info and tools to make this year's show a game changer for your business.
Vegas (And Wedding MBA) Survival
If you're coming to the show this year, remember one thing: it's still Las Vegas. New York may be the official "city that never sleeps" but Vegas can turn your internal clock inside out and wear you down quicker than you can say "Let it ride!". Here's a quick list of Vegas survival tips from LasVegasJaunt.com:
- Comfortable shoes
- Cheap sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Phone, tablet and laptop chargers
- Layered clothing
- Refillable water bottle
- Camera good for low light settings (or, get familiar with your phone's low light camera settings)
- A comfortable shoulder bag
- Sleep survival kit
- Hangover survival kit
